Bible Story Concert November 16, 2008

Acis & Galatea Great Success!
The opera was a great success. Photos of the performance are online in the Acis and Galatea Photo Album. (They are somewhat blurry stills. But you can see the joy on the faces of the singers.) The entire performance was recorded by two DVD cameras. If you want a copy, please email the director.
The comments in the audience included, "I sat there with a grin on my face for two hours." "It was fantastically entertaining." "The singing and instrumental music were amazing." "The movement on the stage, facial expressions, and vitality of the performance was totally refreshing." "Everybody on stage was having so much fun."

Call for Auditions for Handel Opera, Acis and Galatea
Opera Non Troppo is holding auditions for the opera, Acis and Galatea, by Handel.
- The auditions will be held between December 15, 2007 through January 15, 2008.
- Auditions are by appointment. Please email (godiva1 at earthlink.net [replace the "at" with "@"]) the Opera Director, Renee, for an appointment time.
- The performance is May 11, 2008 at 2pm in Berkeley, California.
- Rehearsals will be 10am to 12pm Saturday mornings.
